Dennis Uy, a businessman from Davao, controls PH Resorts Group Holdings. The company announced that it has agreed to sell a majority interest to the owner of Okada Manila about its delayed casino resort project in central Cebu, Philippines.
Emerald Bay Resort and Casino in Mactan, Cebu, is now under construction, and PH Resorts will be able to finish the project thanks to the tentative deal that was struck last week with Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment, the parent company of Okada Manila. Retail stores, a casino with 700 electronic gaming machines and 140 tables, and a five-star beachfront hotel with 642 rooms spread across two 15-story buildings are all part of the integrated resort.
