Based on data from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC), Macau's casino and junket business employed 71,400 workers in the first quarter of 2024, up around 4,000 from the previous quarter.

This is good news for the city, which had been suffering reduced profits post-pandemic. Also, average wages increased in the industry. I hope this trend will continue throughout the year.

Yeah the pandemic was so tough on them. Gambling tourism was their biggest moneymaker. Glad to see they are recovering well.

I appreciate all of the help I can get as I work my way to run a long-term and successful business. From the day that I learned how to open a sportsbook to now, there is definitely a lot I now know from experience. It does not mean I will stop learning, though.

Macau is called the Las Vegas of the East. And with good reason- their staying power is pretty strong, and they will recover nicely.

Aside from running my own online sportsbook, I do enjoy traveling since my bookie pay per head solutions is helping me get my work done easily.

The government wants casinos to stop offering free food. Operators disagree because this policy could decrease the number of visitors.

I do agree with the operators because free food does attract foot traffic.
