MGM Resorts International is exploring the sale of its casino operations at Ohio’s Northfield Park and Springfield, Massachusetts. The discussions are still in the preliminary phase and might not bring any actions in the future.
It is a case of having good sales and profits, but management is frustrated with the company’s share value. If you have the money, will you invest in MGM Resorts?
Sharing what I know about the bookie industry.
From what I know of MGM resorts, they have done this before, I just forgot which casino facility. It was also earning well but the facility was not really that large compared to their other projects. I think the direction on their end is to focus on large facilities- around the scale of Vegas facilities kind of large.
MGM is always a safe bet (okaaay no pun intended there) when investing, so if I had a lot of money lying around, I probably would try to get my share of the pie there.
I appreciate all of the help I can get as I work my way to run a long-term and successful business. From the day that I learned how to open a sportsbook to now, there is definitely a lot I now know from experience. It does not mean I will stop learning, though.
